Let’s Talk – Focus, Precision, Accuracy

LED Illumination

Seiler users the brightest LED Illumination on the market at 150,000 lux. Why is this important? As you increase the power of magnification you lose light, this is when LED at 150,000 lux gives you the illumination you need to see more.

LED for colour rendition which mimics natural daylight, low heat output and virtually no maintenance.

Steps of Magnification

Seiler offer 3 or 6 steps of magnification enhancing precision and improving the overall quality of all treatments. Treatment planning starts with seeing exactly where you need it. This is particularly true of endodontic applications, where complex and diverse problems often need treating.

Restorative Dentistry

Quickly detect enamel and dentine fractures as well as approximal caries. High precision optics enhance visualisation and allow accurate assessment of crown edges, preparation levels and veneers.

Endodontics

LED Illumination and 6 steps of magnification help facilitate a better view of fine anatomical structures and details of root canals and isthmuses.

Implantogy

Increased visualisation, illumination and precision create a more accurate basis for a range of restorative therapies allowing you to operate with confidence.

Periodontics

A better view of anatomical details enhances predictability and accuracy of microsurgical techniques, fine sutures can lead to more precise outcomes.

Will regular servicing reduce my surgery downtime?

In a word yes.

Planned Preventative Maintenance Service Kits are designed to replace all parts which are subject to ‘wear and tear’ before they pose a problem. Our accredited engineers sometimes spot other equipment faults early on during the service which means we are able rectify them before they before expensive and cause an unexpected breakdown.

Breakdowns are expensive and inconvenient, that’s one of the reasons why we promote DB Dental Bespoke Contracts which offer planned preventative servicing to help you maintain your patient treatment schedule and avoid unexpected downtime.

Ask our friendly team about PPM Maintenance for your practice – we cover all equipment new or old!

Are you sitting comfortably?

Dentists are at high risk for musculoskeletal disorders due to the nature of their work.

Whilst it is easy to visualise how an accident at work may result in life limiting illness many work-related injuries occur while sat in an office chair – or on a dental stool. These injuries may occur over a longer period of time, but the effects can be just as devastating. The key to preventing work-related musculoskeletal disorders is ergonomics.

Working with a dental microscope allows for the best possible working position. For some dentists this is their main motivation for investing in a microscope. Using a microscope encourages optimal working posture and ergonomics, fundamental to your long-term health and well being.

A dental microscope works in the same way that a telescope works, the furthest point of view is at infinity. Therefore the eyes are not strained and fatigue rarely occurs.

With features like the Seiler Vario Focus, 0-220 Binocular Head, Ergo Grips and Extender Rotation Device you can sit comfortably in an ergonomically correct position.

  • Vario Focus enables you to adjust the focal length from 200-350 mm without leaving your preferred working position therefore reducing neck and back strain.
  • Seiler Ergo Grips allow you to arrange the handgrips ergonomically to suit all working positions and treatments.

In Essence – Seiler microscopes allow you to maintain an ergonomic, upright working position without ever having to take your eyes off the patient.

The result, a more relaxed working day.
