The Kronos range is an extremely reliable, conventional autoclave available as a B Type vacuum autoclave, N Type non vacuum autoclave and the S Speedy autoclave. Statim offer something a little different in their range of cassette autoclaves. The Statim cassettes autoclaves sterilize up to 10 times faster than traditional ‘chamber style’ units. Statim sterilizes handpieces and instruments for immediate use in as little as 8 minutes, reducing the number required as instruments can be processed ‘just in time’ or in between patients.

In terms of washer disinfectors, we would recommend the HMCE CleanOne2 which is an ultrasonic washer disinfector which uses a chemical disinfection cycle, rather than the conventional thermal type. This unit is ideal for practices where space is tight as it eliminates the need for a separate ultrasonic and washer disinfector saving space and costs, whilst avoiding the need for manual cleaning.
